This roof deck, modeled after Kimball’s vision of a park in Paris, the custom metal trellises light the white roses in the summer was in collaboration with Gregory Lombardi Design.

This long, dramatic colonnade on a busy street in Boston shelters dozens of shops and restaurants, but because of the setback under the roof, signage for the stores was lost to street traffic. Meg devised a concept that incorporated awnings in the style of the old world gallerias seen in Europe, made to look like retractable curtains rather than the usual protruding awnings. Adding drama and colorful signage on the awnings helped with the branding of both the stores and the vast apartment building above.
