About Meg Kimball

“Corporate design is my favorite.  I love devising a concept that defines the culture of the business and helps with the company’s branding.”  – Meg

A graduate of Boston College, Meg began her career in interior design from the ground up, working for her father’s luxury home construction company, beginning in 1986. It was there that she learned the discipline of construction estimating and project management, observing the works of the highly notable architects Joseph W. Dick and Robert A. M. Stern.

Known for her bespoke interiors, entertainment spaces & range of style, Meg has renovated multiple, high-end homes from the ground up.

Recent commercial projects include acting as the design consultant for a $15 million dollar recapitalization project of a 500-unit apartment and retail complex in Boston, MA. As well, Meg envisioned a residential roof deck for the building, spanning three city blocks, in Boston’s famed Back Bay. Meg’s inspiration for the roof deck was a beautiful little park she fell in love with in Paris.

Corporate design work includes working with a young software engineering company in Cambridge, MA to design a floor of office suites into a vibrant and playful workspace that defined the company’s energetic & youthful spirit.

Meg’s present work includes the design and branding project of The Galleria at Church Park Apartments on Massachusetts Avenue, in Boston, MA, which, additionally, encompassed the interior and exterior renovation of Fern, an old world, market-style floral shop – complementing the experience of the famed gallerias and promenades of Europe.

In 2014, Meg founded her store and e-commerce site, www.mak-home.com, which is a seller of luxury lifestyle products. Meg is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Verve Magazine – an art, design and style digital publication, published by Kimball & King, Inc. and found on her website, www.mak-home.com and The Verve Magazine.
